Just to let everyone know that the Christmas Tree collections will still go ahead following the changes yesterday to government guidelines.
We can travel to collect trees, including those that are now in tier 4, as it is a charitable activity, which, if I have read the guidelines correctly is still allowed. It will be an important fundraiser for Wythall Community Association this year with there being no carnival or bonfire night.
The volunteers are paired up in accordance with their tiers and the guidelines within those tiers and will take all the required precautions.
Thank you to everyone who has already booked collections, it is really appreciated.
The deadline for booking a collection has now passed.
Calling All : B90.1 / B92.2 / B94.5 / B47.5 / B47.6 / B48.7 / B98.7 / B38.3 / B38.8 / B38.9 Residents.
When Christmas is over; save yourself the hassle of disposing of your real Christmas tree, getting pine needles in your car, endless queueing at the tip.
Sit back and relax, have drink and another mince pie.
Allow your local charity "Wythall Community Association" to pick up and dispose of your real tree for a small donation.
All donations will help to maintain our beautiful Community Park.
All trees will be chipped, and the chippings used around the park.
Dates of the collections are Saturday 09th and Sunday 10th January 2021.
