Redhill Archers

Our club, REDHILL ARCHERS, was formed in 1971 just prior to moving to Wythall Park, Silver Street, and our present shooting ground.

31st January 2015 marks the Official opening of our new Headquarters and Indoor Range by The Right Hon. Sajid Javid, MP for Bromsgrove, Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport.

Club Nights are Tuesday and Thursday but we have access to the Indoor and Outdoor Ranges at all times.

The Indoor Range is available for use by local clubs and individual archers (members of ArcheryGB); in addition to being bookable for corporate and group sessions.

BEGINNERS

To enable an absolute beginner to decide whether archery is his/her sport we invite anyone interested to attend a Beginners Course (4 or 5 sessions – approx 2 hours each). All necessary equipment is available and you will be given instruction in the basics of shooting. You will be allowed to practice under the supervision of a club member who will put you right, answer questions and help if you are in any difficulties.

Beginners age 8 – 15 years (inc) MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT OR RESPONSIBLE ADULT AT ALL TIMES.

To cover costs and insurance we charge a fee of £60 for the course.

Since the Olympics there has been much interest in our sport so please check our website if you wish to register your interest.

If you decide that you wish to continue in the sport and become a member of Redhill Archers the club equipment is available for your use until such time as you acquire your own, as and when you feel ready.
