Wythall Writers Group.
Got creativity but nowhere to put it?
We are a group of adults of all ages who enjoy writing.
We meet on the second Thursday of every month in Wythall Library, May Lane, Hollywood - 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm – and would love to see you there!
At the meetings we:
- Read out work, discuss contributions and provide constructive critique for development
- Discuss and highlight any relevant writing forums, events and competitions that may be of interest to our members.
We aim to produce an anthology of our work with contributions from all members every 2 years. The next anthology is scheduled for Winter 2012.
We also try and hold 2 – 3 workshops each year where established authors of all genres are invited to come along and share their experiences with us.
Our main aim is to encourage each other to write, never give up the publishing dream, and above all to have fun!
Wythall Writers is a non-profit making group but we do need cash for expenses such as fees for speakers and the Wythall Writers Anthology which we produce every year when possible.
Membership of the group is £5 for 12 months and then £2 per meeting.
